The Talking Machine forum - sign-up problems

I have had a little acoustic phonograph called the Brunswick Parisian.... This has a folding paper cone (mine is missing) and I would like to make a replica.... Web search turns up a Talking Machine Forum that appears to have a good bit of traffic and a few postings on this little phonograph. So I try to register and get an automated response acknowledging application for registration and the statement that this must be approved by an administrator....
I tried twice this week registering under separate user and e-mails without any feedback.... Have any of you successfully registered on this forum?

I registered for it a few years back. Seems like the turnaround time was about a week or so. I think there's only one guy who approves new membership requests.

Find out if it's run by a guy named Gilmore or any of his cohorts.
If so - steer clear. WAAAYYYYY too much inter-board squabbling to the point of very little actual hobby discussions go on.
2 kinds of men/tape. Low Noise/Wide Range.
LN=kind. WR=abrasive. Engineers=same thing.

That's not Gilmore's forum, but I did once get a computer virus at "The Talking Machine Forum" while looking at record label pictures.
